The New Rogue Traders Album - Here Come The Drums - Out This ARIA Sunday
19.10.05
Rogue Traders are ready to grab you by the scruff of the neck and force you into submission with their new album 'Here Come The Drums'. Released this Sunday, October 23 and featuring 'Voodoo Child' and new single 'Way To Go!', plan on burning a hole in your stereo with this baby. Keep an eye out for three-times nominated Rogues tearing it up live at the ARIA's this Sunday.

This album has been more than worth the wait... With their newest member Natalie in tow, Rogue Traders unleash their brand new sound with unabashed punk attitude in spades on their highly-anticipated new album, 'Here Come The Drums', this Sunday, October 23.
Two years in the making, self-written and self-produced, 'Here Come The Drums' is the sound of a band finding their voice within the genre that they were perhaps least associated, punk rock, and is sweet vindication of their self-belief and their creative integrity.
Featuring the club thumping #1 'Voodoo Child' and the precocious new single 'Way To Go!' alongside 10 other equally deliciously devilish cuts, 'Here Come The Drums' is an inspired, in-your-face electro-punk and dance-pop trip - a heady mix that's intoxicating and infectious.
"We love our rock music and we love our electronic music and on this album we're meeting right in the middle," says Mr James Ash.
Naturally, the inclusion of Natalie Bassingthwaighte as a fully-fledged member is central to the Rogue Traders new sound and their band persona. Vampish, coquettish and spontaneous, Natalie snarls and seduces, teases and taunts with a rawness that is exhilarating.
"I wanted to bring my personality into the band," Nat says. "I wanted to colour it, to make it very rock, but also make the vocals very character based. I can be very outrageous, and the songs let me go out there and just explode."
Make sure you tune in to the 2005 ARIA Awards this Sunday, October 23 (broadcast on Channel [V] and Channel Ten from 7.30pm) to catch three-time nominated Rogues tearing it up in their inimitable style live on stage (and hopefully snatching a couple of those ARIA's as well).
